Eyelash Extensions Instead?
Mood:  d'oh
Now Playing: Carla Bruni Il Vecchio e il Bambino
Topic: Eyelash Growth Products

Okay, so I know I started this blog to document my progress and findings with using Lilash to grow my eyelashes, but after a year I don't think that idea is going to happen!

In theory, the idea of growing your own eyelashes sounds so good and a better alternative to applying makeup everyday, but I guess I'm just too impatient to wait weeks for a few millimeters of growth here and there!

Instead I've opted for a more immediate albeit artificial solution. I now use individual false eyelashes. Some people call these eyelash extensions but I don't think they're quite the same. I use the type of individual false lashes that come in small bunches. The glue is semi permanent and the eyelashes usually stay on for about 1-2 weeks. I'll have to do some touch ups here and there when a lash clump falls out, but this only happens when the eyelash falls out naturally... that is as long as I don't rub at my eyes! OUCH!!!!

Today's Blood Sugar Status
Mood:  blue

Don't feel well. dont know if its the metabo boosters or the glucophage, but i havent felt well all week, upset stomache.

Three hours and one glucophage later my bloo is at 202. Things are worse than I imagined. The good news is, im watching it. Perhaps the glucophage needs to kick in over a period to have me be more responsive, I am going to start taking cinnamon at least 1 tsp a day, per a report i read that some people are using that and diet alone to regulate thier sugars. It is obvious that the correct diet (less than 60 carbs a day should be more than sufficient) is not enough for me to combat this.

I know I'm getting obsessive, but I need to get a handle on this goddamn sugar crisis. Full night of fasting plus glucophage and glipizid, and my sugars are still 185. What kinda crap is that?

Eyebrow growth products reviews seem to describe a good way to deal with bushy eyebrows.  Hmmm...

Take Another Look At Your Life
Mood:  don't ask
Now Playing: Goldfrapp Believer
It has been said the most important date on our headstone is the dash in between our birth and our death. We seldom take time to reflect on where we have been. We get so caught up in accomplishing goals and regretting those not met. We lose focus on the smaller things. We forget how to stroll through the park or gaze at the stars. We leave the simple pleasures of life to those who get paid to do it. We say our family is our biggest concern. Yet how often do we sit down to dinner together? How many phone calls do we make home to say we have to work late? Do we still get on our knees for bedtime prayer? Or do we rush through the memorized lines because the news is on or we need to prepare for tomorrow? We all have to provide for our families but do we give any more than financial support? How many of us can look back into our childhood and say our family always spent at least one night with no distractions?    For those of us still single and those of us single parents, we dream of love. We sit and watch all the happy couples wishing one day that might be us. But so many times we are seeking the idea of love. We want that Brady Bunch happy family. Or we want that Dharma and Greg opposite attraction. We read the how to books and wish upon falling stars. But if we took some time to reflect we could see that the work is not yet finished. We have to evaluate our past to see if we have done the same things. We have to be the person we are meant to be instead of trying to be what everyone else wants. When we are happy with us then and only then can someone else be happy with us too.    So many of us are caught up in our regrets. How we should have done things differently. Why did it go wrong? We focus so much on "if only". But regret is only a poor excuse for "I learned nothing." If we can look at our life and see the bad experiences as a lesson or a tool to go farther next time then we should have no regrets. The all time question is "If you could change anything in your past, what would it be?" My question is "Why change anything at all?" Everything in our past right down to the day we fell off the swing into the mud made us the person we are today. If you change that minor thing every other event would be altered. We must learn to accept our past, learn from it, and move on. Could have, would have, should have only leaves an empty "what if".     Final thoughts....    How do we each live our lives? Have we taken time to reflect today? Take 10 minutes to say "thank you" and look and at your life. CAN TOMORROW BE BETTER???

Any LiLash Reviews? I Think I'm Going To Buy It.
Mood:  happy
Topic: Eyelash Growth Products
Ok y'all, so I was searching around on the web for some eyelash growth treatments and I fell across several reviews for this conditioner called LiLash. Does anyone have some experience with it? The comments were good for the most part and the pics in the women’s LiLash reviews showed growth that is undreamt of. Does LiLash stand up to all the hype? I have very delicate lashes and I’m sick of attempting to get the perfect mascara to make them look taller. I’ve read a lot of comments of other lash growth accelerators but they either do not have an active ingredient to make them work or they’re way too overpriced and have a lot of side effects. I'm patient and prepared to wait a few weeks for longer lashes, just as long as LiLash actually lives up to all the hype. I also found current LiLash coupon codes for free shipping and handling. I don't think it's going to continue long though. I'm going to buy this the second I get home again. I'm not troubled with getting conned since there's a refund and money back policy, but I'm just wondering if somebody else has bought LiLash.
